About Our Mathematics Program
A bachelor’s degree in mathematics is an undergraduate degree that prepares students for careers in government, business, and industry or for pursuing graduate studies. Students will develop a broad knowledge of mathematics topics, providing theory and training in both applied and core mathematics.
As part of their major requirements, students will complete a broad array of mathematical topics, including:
- Discrete Mathematics
- Abstract Algebra
- Linear Algebra
- Applied Differential Equations
- Applied Probability and Statistics
- Advanced Mathematical Software
Interested in teaching Mathematics at the secondary (high school) level? Our Secondary Education department can help design your degree program to major in Mathematics and minor in Education, creating a direct pathway to the classroom.
