Lost in Space with STEAM Roller (8-12 years old)

Campers will have an overview of a wide variety of space age topics including how small satellites work and satellite tracking, optical and radio astronomy, rocketry (build your own model rocket to launch!), and world-wide communications via amateur radio and the International Space Station. Lots of hands-on activities and mini-projects will be administered as part of the class. Athens State’s “STEAM Roller” portable satellite tracking ‘trailer’ will be on site.
