The Sports Museum is open to the public each Friday morning, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon.

Opened in August 2012, the Athens State University Sports Museum is a collection of memorabilia honoring the coaches, players, cheerleaders, and boosters of sports programs back to the 1930s. This extensive collection includes photographs, awards, uniforms, and a broad range of various sports items. A special display honoring Coach Oba Belcher and Coach Harold Murrell is highlighted in the museum.
